Microsoft introduces Audio Dock and Presenter Plus New surface Gadget
Microsoft has unveiled two new hybrid work accessories that will make virtual meetings more convenient. We are talking about a universal speakerphone system Audio Dock and remote control Presenter Plus.
Audio Dock is a compact device that combines a smart speaker and a hub for connecting other devices. The novelty is capable of delivering up to 60 watts of power to charge connected devices. This, for example, is quite enough to replenish the energy of many modern laptops. In addition to two USB Type-C interfaces, the design provides HDMI and USB Type-A connectors.
Two speakers with a power of 15 and 5 watts are responsible for the sound output. The equipment has a pair of forward-facing microphones with noise reduction support. On the body of the device there are volume and mute buttons, so you can always see what state the microphones are in. There is also a Teams button to quickly join virtual meetings.
In addition to this, Microsoft introduced the Presenter Plus portable remote control. It is designed to work with presentations created in PowerPoint, Prezi or Keynote. With the remote, you can scroll through the slides, mute or unmute the sound, use the built-in pointer to show parts of the slides, and more. The remote also has a Teams button for quickly connecting to virtual meetings. Presenter Plus connects via Bluetooth and has a wireless range of about 10 meters.
Microsoft did not specify the timing of the start of sales of the Audio Dock and Presenter Plus devices. Their retail price was also not announced.
