Upgrade to music - the 5th element! Bass shaker
Yesterday I took the car from the next upgrade of the car audio system. I was unrealistically satisfied and of course many thanks for the work done by the guys from "PRO 12V". Now on topic:
Bass Shaker manufactured by aura USA is a vibration exciter with a drive similar in characteristics to the drive of a conventional bass speaker, only the vibrational energy created by it is transmitted not to a diffuser (which is not), but to the car body panel. I put them under the front seats. In fact, the Bass Shaker was originally conceived as an auxiliary device for transmitting the so-called "tactile" bass, that is, those frequency components that are mostly perceived by the body as low-frequency vibrations, and not by the ear as bass sounds. It turned out that the capabilities of the device go beyond the original purpose. Bass shaker (from English to shake - push, oscillate) - a device
which is a subwoofer without a diffuser. The role of the latter is played by the surface to which the device is attached. In combination with a subwoofer, it's really just a "bomb"! The bass shaker's heavy magnetic system does not create sound in the first place, but vibrations. Its operating frequency range is 30 - 80 Hz.
The installation of rear midbasses with tweeters in the rear doors also significantly changed the whole picture of car audio.
In general, the "5th element" went well, the system was reconfigured into one single whole, the sound quality and its perception are hard to describe, you just have to listen to it) ) ). . .
Completed works:
1. A set (with amplifier) of Bass Shakers — aura is installed 2. Noise isolation of the
rear doors
3. Midbass DLS R6 B4 Vifa and upper tweeters are installed in the rear doors (photo attached)
4. Reconfiguration of the music system
Spread some photos for your judgment, as always a pleasure to talk with you! ) ) )
