An entire cinema in one beautiful soundbar

To create a powerful and immersive cinematic experience, Beosound Theatre comes with 12 speaker drivers, including two custom-made long stroke 6.5” woofers and 800 watts of amplification power, providing up to 112dB sound pressure level. Speech clarity is managed by the custom-made center channel, where the tweeter is mounted directly in front of the midrange. The alignment of these drivers ensures a better sound distribution elevating the quality audio experience for everyone in the room, while directivity has been designed to optimize speech quality.

Building on the Beam Width and Beam Direction Control developed for Bang & Olufsen’s flagship Beolab 90 speakers, Beosound Theatre introduces a new three-dimensional sound directivity due to the patent-pending combination of the direct, side- and up-firing speakers. This means that all loudspeaker drivers are working together not only to produce sound but to control its beam width and direction.

“We originally developed the Beam Width and Beam Directivity Control for Beolab 90 to reduce the effect of sidewall reflections at the listening position. Basically, to make the walls disappear. The modular, expandable Beosound Theater system is "designed to be the world's most powerful and immersive soundbar" and includes 12 speakers (including up- and side-firing for immersive Dolby Atmos sound and two 6.5" woofers) - total power 800 W and maximum sound pressure level up to 112 dB. A dedicated bass management system uses all the speakers in the system as a kind of unity (rather than traditionally directing the bass to a subwoofer). Subsequently, you can expand the installation to the maximum Atmos by adding up to 16 external speakers (of which up to 8 are wireless using WiSA technology). Roomsense's new tuning technology uses a calibration microphone (included) to make sure the speakers optimize the sound for your space.7.1.4 TCL X937U soundbar ).

The kit includes a wall mount and table stand, meaning this soundbar can be easily combined with TVs and combined into one object. The solution is optimized at the factory for some LG 55", 65" and 77" models (C2 / G2 / Z2 series), but can be combined with all TVs. For this modularity, the interface arm is motorized and the Smart TV connection boxes are placed in a special compartment. The soundbar cover is replaceable and the aluminum wings can be extended to fit larger TV screens.

The Danes at Bang & Olufsen have always been famous for their design. The Beosound Theater has been designed to work with speakers such as Beolab 18, Beolab 28, and BeoLab 50 - all thanks to the oak lamella version in a sailboat (B&O term) form factor. There is also a fabric case. In addition, the novelty connects to B&O speakers released in 1986 (for example, the iconic Beolab 6000 and Beolab 8000 speakers).

There are three HDMI inputs and one eARC output, and the panel can also play 4K at 120Hz and 8K at 60Hz. The Beosound Theater is equipped with Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.1, and Ethernet (4x1 gigabit switch), as well as a USB-C port. Streaming on board includes Apple AirPlay 2, DLNA, built-in Chromecast, Spotify Connect, and Deezer. There is Google Assistant compatibility, but you will need an external smart speaker.

The Bang & Olufsen Beosound Theater Soundbar will be available in most of Europe starting October 1st and will be available in a range of finishes. The fabric version will be priced at 6,490 euros, while the wooden version will be priced at 7,490 euros.
