New 'Black Adam' Trailer Reveals Amanda Waller And Villain Sabbac

A new era of the DC Extended Universe is on its way.

The second trailer for Black Adam has been released, revealing some interesting details about the film. It features Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, who the actress played in the Suicide Squad series. Also appearing in the trailer is the villain Sabbac, played by Marwan Kenzari, best known for his role as Jafar in Aladdin .

Previously, fans could only guess what Sabbac would look like in Black Adam based on the movie merch. This spectacular video includes several fresh scenes, although there is also footage from the previous trailer.

Black Adam tells the story of Teth-Adam , a former slave from Egypt who gained superpowers. In the DC comics, he is portrayed as a villain, but in the film, according to the advertising campaign, he will be presented as an anti-hero. In the story, Black Adam is awakened from his years of hibernation to help the Justice Society of America in the fight against a dangerous threat. Dwayne Johnson played the lead role in Black Adam. He called the published trailer "a force born of anger" and "the beginning of a new era in the DC Universe".

In addition to Johnson, Davis and Kenzari, Pierce Brosnan starred in Black Adam as the powerful magician Doctor Fate, one of DC's oldest characters. Maybe Fate will have to fight Adam, but that's just speculation for now. And what is known for sure is that Doctor Fate has a beautiful blue and gold suit , which both corresponds to the comic canon and “improves” it. By the way, Brosnan himself took part in the creation of this outfit.

Black Adam is set to premiere on October 21st. The film was directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, who had already worked with Dwayne Johnson on Jungle Cruise.
