The Boys Season 4
Just a week after The Boys burst onto our screens with the release of its third season, Prime Video has announced the series has been renewed for a fourth season. While viewers haven't gotten to the season finale yet, the way the third season ends definitely sets the stage for the next one, and viewers can now confidently walk to the finale without worrying about the fate of the series.
Amazon is fully committed to adapting showrunner Eric Kripke's Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson comic book series of the same name: Diabolical Animated Anthology premiered earlier this year, and production is in full swing on a spin-off superhero school series starring Patrick Schwarzenegger, Jazz Sinclair, Sean Patrick Thomas and others. Following the success of the season 3 premiere, Vernon Sanders, head of global television at Amazon Studios, released a statement regarding the project's relaunch, saying:
" From our very first conversation with Eric Kripke and the creative team about the third season of The Boys, we knew the show continued to get even bolder - an impressive feat given the wild success of its Emmy-nominated second season. The Boys continues to push the boundaries of storytelling while remaining relentlessly entertaining and punctuating a social satire that feels all too real. The show's stylized world has an incredible global reach, and the opening weekend viewership is proof of that. We are immensely proud of the cast and crew that spawned the Prime Video franchise and look forward to bringing more of The Boys to our customers."
