Beosound Level modular wireless speaker
At the end of last year, the European Parliament spoke in favor of the maintainability of gadgets surrounding a person. In response to the call, Bang & Olufsen has released the Beosound Level modular Wi-Fi speaker. It will indeed be much easier to repair or simply upgrade it: the battery, streaming module and front panel were made replaceable.
Beosound Level can be positioned as you like - put it down, put it upright or hang it on the wall (a special bracket with a charging function is provided). The speaker will automatically adjust its sound depending on the orientation and acoustic environment around it. If you bring your hand to the Beosound Level, the indicators will light up - the proximity sensor will work.
Five speakers with class D amplification with a total power of 105 watts are responsible for the sound of the novelty. This is a pair of 4-inch woofers, a 2-inch wideband and a pair of 0.8-inch tweeters.
The Beosound Level connects to a computer network via Wi-Fi, although there is also a connector for a patch cord. It works with Spotify Connect, AirPlay 2 and Google Chromecast for internet streaming and multi-room functionality, complete with Google Assistant features. Interaction with mobile gadgets via Bluetooth 5.0 is not forgotten.
Price:
The Bang & Olufsen Beosound Level speaker costs $1,800 in the US. The wall-mounted charging bracket will be available in the spring for an additional $120.
