JVC Launches World's First TWS Headphones Equipped with HA-FW1000T Wooden Cone Speakers

JVC has unveiled the world's first fully wireless earbuds with wooden cone drivers. The novelty is part of the Wood series , the main feature of which is unique dynamic emitters. Their diffusers, in addition to the carbon coating, have an outer layer of natural wood tens of micrometers thick.

The use of natural material helped to improve transient response and reduce distortion by absorbing unwanted vibrations and internal resonances into the wood layer. This results in exceptionally natural and expressive sound with high detail and record-breaking low distortion. Wood cone technology has been successfully used in the Wood series of headphones for more than 10 years, and the HA-FW1000T model is the world's first implementation of this technology in the form of fully wireless headphones.

In addition to the use of wood-coated cones, the HA-FW1000T model speakers are notable for having a one-piece stainless steel cabinet with an integrated acoustic lens and a powerful magnet system. The speaker itself has a fairly large caliber of 11 mm and is located in a closed acoustic chamber, which helps to achieve an even tonal balance and a wide range of reproducible frequencies.

“The main principle of JVC  is “even closer to the musical essence,” says Alexey Sokolsky, head of video and audio products of the JVC sales and marketing department . “Our engineers understand how important it is to convey all the nuances of the recordings that the music creators have worked on. In this model, they chose to use wood for the key parts because it has amazing acoustic properties. Thus, it was possible to minimize distortion, ensuring high sound quality.”

High sound quality is provided not only by unique speakers with wooden cones, but also by their high-precision tuning. To solve this problem, JVC brought in sound engineers from Victor Studio , the legendary Japanese recording studio. To transmit sound from a smartphone in high resolution (up to 24bit / 96kHz), the headphones support Qualcomm 's aptX Adaptive technology . And when using a standard Bluetooth connection (with SBC / AAC / aptX codecs ), the “ K2 Technology ” technology is automatically activated in the headphones , which can make the sound richer and more saturated.

The headphones are equipped with Qualcomm 's hybrid active noise canceling system . Its adaptive function monitors the fit of the headphones in real time and automatically adjusts the noise canceling mode. This allows you to effectively eliminate external noise, regardless of the physiological characteristics of the user. And thanks to the Touch&Talk function, you can mute music and make the headphones completely transparent to external sounds simply by touching the sensor. This will allow you to hear the voice of the interlocutor standing nearby without removing the headphones from your ears.

To maximize the performance of the HA-FW1000T , the headset features Qualcomm® cVc™ technology, which clears the user's voice from ambient noise, as well as the Clear Voice function , which improves speech intelligibility when wearing a protective medical mask.

Each earbud weighs only 7.8g and can play music continuously for up to 9 hours. And when using the charging case, the total battery life reaches 27 hours. The fast charging function allows you to recharge the headphones for 1.5 hours of work in just 10 minutes, and the time for a full charge of the kit is 2.5 hours.

Unique 11mm wooden cone drivers. They have exceptionally natural and lively sound with high detail and low distortion.

The use of " K2 Technology " technologies - they compensate for the losses that occur with a standard Bluetooth connection, making the sound richer and more alive.

New Spiral Dot Pro ear tips designed specifically for the JVC HA-FW1000T headphones . Available in five sizes: S / MS / M / ML / L.

Qualcomm Active Noise Cancellation with adaptive auto-tuning technology. Thanks to a hybrid two-microphone circuit and an adaptive algorithm, the noise reduction system is as effective as possible, regardless of the density of the headphones and the physiological characteristics of the user.

Support for the Qualcomm® aptX Adaptive™ High-Resolution Audio Codec capable of transmitting audio at resolutions up to 24bit/96kHz with minimal latency. At the same time, the data transfer rate is adjusted in real time depending on the available radio channel width and the amount of data.
