This card can safely be called the "big sister" of Infrasonic DeuX, which was discussed at the beginning of the review. With comparable external dimensions, Echo AudioFire 2 has a higher signal-to-noise ratio and a much better audio chip that allows you to get clear, powerful sound even on a mid-range audio system. This device is produced by the wonderful company Echo Audio.
The modest size did not allow placing digital and MIDI interfaces in the device case, but the developers solved this issue by installing a proprietary connector on the rear panel, to which the dongle with the corresponding inputs / outputs is connected. They did not forget about a separate headphone output (3.5 mm jack), providing it not only with a volume control, but also with a powerful amplifier, thanks to which this connector turns into an additional stereo output.
The software control panel is made in the form of a mixing console and allows you to output sound from different programs to separate channels. Echo AudioFire 2 is highly recommended as a budget option for a truly professional sound system that will faithfully serve its owner for many years.
